RSD Ruins Lives

This is the Planning For Burial - Reminder cassette.

Extremely limited Record Store Day release; sold out by the time you'll read this here. But since we're sorry that not everyone could get a copy, nearly everything else in the MRL webstore will be on sale today. Great way to round out a collection, or show a friend a new artist or two (and help us get moving onto our next few releases).

Oh, and feel free to post your RSD hauls on the Music Ruins Lives Facebook and/or Last.fm spaces. We wanna know what you're digging.

As usual, thank you everyone, for somehow making this mess work.

[MRL20] Book Of Sand - Mourning Star: Shipping 4/13/12

We've been relatively quiet for awhile now, but Music Ruins Lives is back, blasting black in the form of Book Of Sand's latest, "Mourning Star".

Pre-orders are up now, and we've just begun the assembly and numbering process. US orders should go out sometime on the night of April 13th (because we're mysterious, and we like self-service machines), with International packages shipping over the course of that weekend.

If you haven't caught or heard a glimpse of "Mourning Star", check out "Crawling Through Sand, Crawling Through Earth" -- and prepare to be sucked in.

However, we will have two (2) left that we can sell. Send us an e-mail over at musicruinslives@gmail.com to confirm, and we'll work out getting a copy to you.

Errorhunting

We just found an issue in the MRL store that wasn't allowing copies of Tom Vourtsis' "Mothhunting" to be added to orders. We hope that's why we still have copies of this album left, because it is, hands-down, one of our favorite releases.

If you haven't picked "Mothhunting" up yet, it's currently on sale for $5. You WILL get good mileage out of that investment.

Check out "Mothhunting" here.

If anyone else ever experiences any issues when shopping our store, please let us know either on our Facebook page, or via msuicruinslives@gmail.com

Music Ruins Lives LIVES

Due to work, outside commitments, the lapsing of our domain-ownership, and the moving of one member of Music Ruins Lives, things have been generally quiet here. The good news? Well, we won www.musicruinslives.org back, and that move will place both pieces of the MRL equation under the same roof, meaning upcoming projects should see faster turnaround time, and an even-greater attention to detail.

All orders up-to-date have been shipped (we apologize for the delays on everything, really), so everyone should hopefully be opening up some new(er) releases from us shortly. And on that note, we're looking to put the finishing touches on a few more projects, actually -- we just don't know which will be ready first.

Stay hungry.
